VIST (Vacuum Insulated Storage Tank) Installation

How It Works

A Vacuum Insulated Storage Tank (VIST) is a double-walled tank designed to store cryogenic liquids like liquid oxygen, nitrogen, argon, or LNG at extremely low temperatures. The inner vessel holds the cryogenic fluid, while the outer vessel creates a vacuum space in between, minimizing heat transfer. During installation, tanks are securely placed on prepared foundations, connected to process lines, and tested for insulation performance and pressure integrity. The vacuum insulation ensures minimal product loss due to evaporation.
